Ahmad Ali Haidar

Ahmad Ali Haidar (born April 10, 1968 in Beirut, Lebanon) is an IFBB professional bodybuilder.
Ahmad is nicknamed, "Abzilla", due to his developed abdominals. He first started competing in professional bodybuilding in 1997 by competing in the World Championships, where he placed 1st. His first IFBB competition was the Mr. Olympia of 1998, where he placed 16th. In 2000 he competed in his first Arnold Classic, placing 12th. Two years later, in 2002, he competed in another Mr. Olympia, placing 13th. He took a short break in competition after 2007 and returned early 2009 and placed 5th at the Ironman Pro Invitational which qualifies him for the 2009 Mr. Olympia.
Ahmad has been featured in many fitness and bodybuilding articles, as well as being featured on the cover of Muscular Development magazine. He currently resides in Pompano Beach, Florida. Ahmad Haidar belongs to the Shi'a muslim sect of Lebanon.

Mohammad Ali Bannout (محمد علي بنوت; born 17 December, 1976, in Beirut, Lebanon), also referred to as Moe Bannout, is a Lebanese IFBB professional bodybuilder. He is cousin to former Mr Olympia, Samir Bannout.

Phillip Heath

Phillip Jerrod Heath (born December 18, 1979 in Seattle, WA) is an IFBB professional bodybuilder.

Biography
Nicknamed "The Gift", Heath played basketball for the University of Denver before turning to bodybuilding in 2002. His hard work quickly paid off when he won the overall title at the 2005 NPC (National Physique Committee) USA Championships and earned the right to compete as an IFBB Pro. "The Gift" immediately made a splash in the IFBB, winning his first two pro events in 2006, which were The Colorado Pro Championships and The New York Pro Championship.
Phil placed fifth at the 2007 Arnold Classic, although fans and critics had him as high as 3rd place. Nonetheless, it qualified him to compete in the 2007 Mr. Olympia contest. Heath decided not to compete at the contest, stating that he needs more time to improve in order to be competitive.
This proved to be a good move, as he ended up winning the 2008 Iron Man show and placed second to Dexter Jackson at the 2008 Arnold Classic. Phil finished 3rd in his Mr Olympia debut in 2008, and became the first rookie to place in the top 3 since Flex Wheeler in 1993. He is a heavy favorite for the 2009 Mr Olympia title.
Heath has been featured in many fitness and magazine articles, including being featured on the cover of FLEX magazine. Heath currently resides in Denver, Colorado.

Lee Labrada

Lee Labrada (born 8 March 1960 in Havana, Cuba) is a former IFBB professional bodybuilder winning 22 major titles and a former Mr. Olympia competitor, published author and current CEO of Labrada Nutrition. Labrada was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2004.

Markus Rühl

Markus Rühl (born 22 February 1972 in Darmstadt, Germany) is a IFBB professional bodybuilder. Markus is most well known for his freakish size[citation needed]. Ruhl began training at the age of 19, after recovering from a knee injury he sustained while playing soccer. At 145 lb., Ruhl began training hard six days a week until deciding to compete on a professional level four years later. During this period he worked as a used car salesman. He possesses some of the biggest shoulders in bodybuilding history, and is one of the strongest bodybuilders alive along with Johnnie O. Jackson, Dennis Wolf and Ronnie Coleman.

Nancy Lewis

Nancy Lewis is a professional female bodybuilder from the United States. She earned her pro card by winning the overall title at the 1991 NPC USA Championship. She competed in a number of professional contests from 1992 to 1998 with a series of solid placings, but no titles. Then after a four-year retirement, she returned to competition in 2002, winning the overall title at the Jan Tana Classic.

Bob Cicherillo

Bob Cicherillo is an IFBB professional bodybuilder.

Biography

First bodybuilding competition was the 1981 Natural America, where he placed 4th in the teen tall class. His first NPC (National Physique Committee) event was the 1987 NPC Junior Nationals, where he won in the heavyweight class division. His first IFBB event was the IFBB North American championships, where he placed 4th. His first IFBB Night of Champions was in 2001, where he placed 11th. His first Mr. Olympia came the following year in 2002, where he placed 17th.
Cicherillo is the co-host of the radio show and podcast Pro Bodybuilding Weekly with Dan Solomon. He qualified for the 2006 Olympia by winning the 2006 Masters in New York but elected not to compete instead serving as host/emcee of the various Olympia contests.
Bob Cicherillo has been featured in many fitness and magazine articles, as well as being featured on the cover of FLEX magazine. He once appeared in the television sitcom Malcom in the Middle and is a regular contributor to the fitness website bodybuilding.com. In addition, Cicherillo has appeared in an ESPN Sportscenter commercial with Stewart Scott, a music video for the band Smashmouth, and in the movie Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, playing "Rory", a bodybuilder at Ben Stiller's gym. He is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild.

David Henry

David Henry (b.February 24, 1975 in Denver, Colorado)is an IFBB professional bodybuilder.
At age 17, David started training with weights for his track & field events and competed his first bodybuilding competition, the Team Muscle Tech Challenge, where he won. His first NPC(National Physique Committee) competition was in the 2001 NPC Nationals, where he placed 11th in the middleweight division. His first IFBB competition was the Florida Pro Xtreme Challenge of 2004, where he placed 10th. His first Ironman Pro Invitational was in the same year, where he placed 6th. Dexter Jackson

Dexter "The Blade" Jackson (born November 25, 1969) is an IFBB professional bodybuilder and the 2008 Mr. Olympia bodybuilding champion. He currently lives in Jacksonville, Florida
Biography
Dexter's first NPC (National Physique Committee) competition was the NPC Southern States Championship of 1992, where he took 3rd.
He first competed in the Arnold Classic, Night of Champions, and Mr. Olympia contests in 1999, placing 7th, 3rd, and 9th, respectively.
At the 2007 Mr. Olympia, Jackson placed 3rd, and many critics said he would not likely place any higher. On September 27, 2008, he defeated the reigning two-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler to become the twelfth man to win that title, and only the second to have won it and the Arnold Classic title in the same year.
2008 was a great year for Dexter, as he won the Arnold Classic, Australian Pro Grand Prix VIII, New Zealand Grand Prix, Russian Grand Prix and the Mr. Olympia.

LEE HANEY

Lee Haney (born November 11, 1959 in Spartanburg, South Carolina), is a former American
IFBB professional bodybuilder most famous for being the current joint world record holder,
along with Ronnie Coleman, for winning the most Mr. Olympia titles (eight times from 1984
to 1991
A devoted born again Christian, Haney has his own program on the Trinity Broadcasting
Network called "TotaLee Fit with Lee Haney," where is usually joined by famous Christian
sportsmen and on occasion his wife. On the show he teaches the importance of both physical
and spiritual growth and one of his more famous quotes is that we should "train to stimulate
not annihilate."
He and his wife reside in Fayette County, GA. Their two children are now in college.
President Bill Clinton appointed Lee Haney Chairman of the President's Council on Physical
Fitness and Sports.[1]
In October 2005, Ronnie Coleman tied Haney's Mr Olympia record becoming only the second person
to win eight Mr. Olympia titles back to back since its inception after Haney had held the
record for an astonishing fourteen years.
His reign ushered in an era where back development (both Latissimus dorsi and Trapezius) has
been seen as the ultimate goal in bodybuilding.[citation needed]
Lee Haney is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he earned a degree in Child
Psychology. He was also a member of the football team while in college.

Flex Wheeler

Kenneth Wheeler (born August 23, 1965, Fresno, California, United States), better known as Flex Wheeler, is a former American IFBB professional bodybuilder.

Biography

Wheeler began training as a teenager, initially with martial arts in mind. However his natural development persuaded him to pursue bodybuilding. Despite this he is on record as regarding himself as a "martial artist first, a bodybuilder second." (1) It also accounts for his remarkable flexibility in a physique so large. Even so, he has been described by Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of the greatest bodybuilders he ever saw.^[2]

After a short career as a police officer, Wheeler focused full time on becoming a professional bodybuilder, taking the nickname 'Flex'. He competed for the first time in 1983 but it was not until 1989 that he secured a first-place trophy at the NPC Mr California Championships. Since then, he has placed second at the 1993 Mr. Olympia, narrowly missing a win (something he was to repeat in 1998 and 1999). He is a 5 time Ironman Pro winner, 4 time Arnold Classic winner, and has enjoyed victories in the France Grand Prix, South Beach Pro Invitational, Night of Champions and Hungarian Grand Prix.

While Wheeler had the reputation of being arrogant and over-confident, especially on stage, he has attributed these faults to a need to compensate for his natural introversion as a child and young man. (2)

In 1994 he was involved in a near-fatal car accident that could have left him with lifelong paralysis. He started from scratch again, returning with remarkable speed to the top ranks of the sport.

In 1999 Wheeler discovered that he had Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, a form of kidney disease. Despite press speculation as to the cause of the failure, Wheeler pointed out that the condition is hereditary, not self-inflicted. Wheeler announced his retirement from competitive bodybuilding in 2000, but continued to compete until 2002. He received a kidney transplant in 2003.

Since retirement Wheeler has focused again on martial arts, his specialism being Kemp-Kwon-Do, a variant of Kempo and Tae Kwon Do. He participated in a demonstration fight at the 2005 Arnold Classic.

In 2007, Flex was interviewed by freelance journalist Rod Labbe for Ironman Magazine's LEGENDS OF BODYBUILDING series. Entitled "Yesterday and Today," it covers his extensive career and reveals how a Legend can conquer adversity and triumph against incredible odds.

Flex currently serves in an executive position as the Director of Media and Public Relations for the Sports Nutrition Company All American EFX, based out of Bakersfield, California. Additionally, he manages their sponsored athletes and can be seen in numerous advertisements for the company.

Jay Cutler (born Jason Isaac Cutler August 3, 1973 in Sterling, Massachusetts) is an IFBB professional bodybuilder and a two time Mr. Olympia winner.

Biography

Cutler started working in his family's concrete construction business, Cutler Bros. Concrete, at the age of 11, and started training when he was 18 years old as a senior at Wachusett Regional High School. He graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 1993 with a degree in criminal justice with the intent to work as a guard for a maximum security prison. Cutler quickly excelled at the sport and took his first overall win in 1993 at the Iron Bodies Invitational. His first contest was the 1992 Gold's Gym Worcester Bodybuilding Championships, at which he took second place. Cutler endorses MuscleTech supplements. He currently lives in Las Vegas with his wife Kerry.

Ronald Dean Coleman

Ronald Dean Coleman (born May 13, 1964 in Bastrop, Louisiana) is a retired American professional bodybuilder who holds the record of eight straight wins as Mr. Olympia, a title he shares with Lee Haney.

Alongside his eight Mr. Olympia wins as a professional bodybuilder, Coleman holds the record for most wins as an IFBB professional with 26 wins. He broke the previous record (held by Vince Taylor at 22 wins) in Moscow on November 5, 2004.

Coleman graduated from Grambling State University (GSU) in 1986 with a degree in accounting^{[citation needed]}. While attending Coleman also played football with the GSU Tigers under famous coach Eddie Robinson. After graduation, Coleman became a police officer.

Coleman supports the Inner City Games, an organization that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger co-founded in 1991. He was the recipient of the 2001 Admiral in the Texas Navy Certificate Award from Texas Governor Rick Perry for outstanding achievements in bodybuilding and for the promotion of physical fitness.

Coleman entered the 2006 Mr. Olympia on September 30, 2006 with the purpose of breaking the record of eight consecutive Mr. Olympia titles, which he shares with Lee Haney, but finished second to Jay Cutler. He placed 4th in 2007 and announced his retirement from further Mr. Olympia competitions. Although stating his retirement from the Olympia stage, he may still, in fact, present himself on another bodybuilding stage.

On June 30, 2009 on MuscleSport Radio, Coleman stated that he will compete in the 2010 Mr. Olympia competition. Coleman also indicated that he will not participate in the 2009 Mr. Olympia competition for lack of preparation time.

Personal life

Ronnie Coleman was married for the first time at the age of 43 to Rouaida Christine Achkar in December 2007. He also has two daughters, Jamilleah and Valencia Daniel.

Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger

Schwarzenegger began weight-training at fifteen. He was awarded the title of Mr. Universe at age 22 and went on to win the Mr. Olympia contest a total of seven times. Schwarzenegger has remained a prominent face in the bodybuilding sport long after his retirement, and has written several books and numerous articles on the sport.

Schwarzenegger gained worldwide fame as a Hollywood action film icon, noted for his lead role in such films as Conan the Barbarian and The Terminator. He was nicknamed the "Austrian Oak" and the "Styrian Oak" in his bodybuilding days, "Arnold Strong" and "Arnie" during his acting career, and more recently the "Governator" (a portmanteau of Governor and the Terminator, one of his film roles).

As a Republican, he was first elected on October 7, 2003, in a special recall election to replace then-Governor Gray Davis. Schwarzenegger was sworn in on November 17, 2003, to serve the remainder of Davis's term. Schwarzenegger was then re-elected on November 7, 2006, in California's 2006 gubernatorial election, to serve a full term as governor, defeating Democrat Phil Angelides, who was California State Treasurer at the time. Schwarzenegger was sworn in for a second term on January 5, 2007. In May 2004 and 2007, he was named as one of the Time 100 people who help shape the world.
